About these terms

These affiliate program terms apply when you apply to or take part in the Castrook affiliate program (the “program”). “We” and “us” refer to Castrook, and “you” to the partner. By applying or sharing a partner link, you agree to these terms, the Castrook terms of service and the privacy policy. Where these terms and the terms of service differ about the program, these terms apply.

The program runs through a partner portal at castrook.affonso.io, operated for us by our affiliate platform, Affonso. You apply, get your links, follow referrals and manage payout details there.

Eligibility and approval

• Apply in the partner portal with your name, email, audience or channel, and how you plan to promote Castrook.
• Every application is reviewed by a person. We may approve or decline an application at our discretion. We aim to reply within two business days, but that is a goal, not a guarantee.
• Joining is free. You don’t need to buy Castrook to join, and there is no signup fee.
• To be paid, you need a payout method and country supported in the partner portal.

Commission

• You earn 30% of eligible revenue from each customer you refer, for 12 months from the referred workspace’s first paid activation.
• Eligible revenue means subscription payments we actually collect for the referred workspace, after discounts, and excluding taxes, refunds, chargebacks, credits and any future pass-through or usage charges. Our payment-processing fees are not deducted from it.
• For monthly plans, commission applies to each qualifying payment for service inside the 12-month window.
• For annual plans, once they are offered, commission is 30% of the first eligible annual subscription payment. Annual renewals don’t earn commission.
• Plan changes and prorations count only for service inside the original 12-month window. Changing plans, reconnecting accounts or paying early never restarts or extends it.
• Free signups and use of the Free plan don’t earn commission.
• Commission is calculated and paid in US dollars.

Referral attribution

• A referral goes to the partner whose eligible link the visitor clicked last in the 60 days before the workspace’s first paid conversion.
• Coming back to Castrook directly, without a partner link, doesn’t replace an existing referral.
• After a workspace’s first payment, its partner is locked for the rest of the commission window.
• If no eligible click was recorded, an approved partner code entered before the first purchase can attribute the referral.
• In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and wherever we can’t determine a visitor’s location, referral tracking needs the visitor’s consent. Visitors who decline aren’t tracked, and we never use fingerprinting or other workarounds to recover a referral.
• Referral and commission records in the partner portal are the basis for payouts. We keep our own audit record and may correct errors, including referrals that break these terms.

Hold and payouts

• Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it is based on, to allow for refunds and disputes.
• Payouts are monthly, in US dollars. We start payouts by the 15th of each month for approved commissions older than 30 days.
• The minimum payout is $25. Smaller balances roll forward to the next month.
• When the money arrives depends on your payout method. Payout methods and supported countries are listed in the partner portal. Fees your bank or payout provider charges, including currency conversion and withdrawal fees, are yours.

Refunds, chargebacks and reversals

• If eligible revenue is refunded, the related commission is reduced in proportion to the refunded amount.
• Chargebacks and payment disputes reverse the related commission. Commission on disputed revenue is held while the dispute is reviewed.
• If commission was already paid on revenue that is later refunded or charged back, we may recover it from your future commissions.
• A customer canceling doesn’t reverse commission for a service period that was paid and completed.

Promotion rules

To keep referrals genuine, you may not:

• refer yourself, a workspace you own or control, or customer accounts you control;
• use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden links or anything else that records a referral without a genuine click;
• publish misleading reviews or claims, including false statements about Castrook’s features, prices, platform approvals or what people can earn;
• send spam, including unsolicited email, messages or comments;
• list Castrook on coupon or deal sites without our written approval;
• bid on “Castrook” or similar terms, including misspellings, in paid search;
• run ads that look like they come from Castrook, or otherwise impersonate us.

The program has one level only: you don’t earn commission for recruiting other partners. Breaking these rules can lead to withheld or reversed commission and removal from the program.

Agencies

Agencies can refer clients who own their own Castrook workspace and subscription. You don’t earn commission on your own Castrook subscription, including one that covers your clients’ accounts in your workspace.

Disclosure

Wherever you recommend Castrook or share your link, clearly disclose that you may earn a commission, close to the recommendation and in words your audience understands. For example: “I earn a commission if you subscribe through this link.”

A bare “affiliate link” label may not be enough. Follow the endorsement and advertising rules that apply to you, such as the US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides. We may review samples of your promotion and ask you to correct it.

Taxes and payout details

Tax forms and payout identity details are collected securely in the partner portal, or by its payout provider, before you are paid, never through email or ordinary web forms. You are responsible for taxes on your commission. Our merchant of record handles sales tax on customers’ purchases; that doesn’t cover your income or other taxes.

Changes to the program

We may change the program or these terms. Changes apply going forward only: we will give notice by email or in the partner portal and publish the new version here with its effective date. A change never reduces commission you have already earned. If you keep taking part after a change takes effect, the new version applies.

Ending participation

You can leave the program at any time. We may suspend or remove a partner who breaks these terms, or end the program for everyone with notice. After you leave or are removed, approved commission you earned before then is still paid under these terms, except commission connected to a breach.

Privacy

The partner portal processes your account, referral links, referrals, earnings and payout details. How we track referred visitors is described in the privacy policy. As a partner, you see the status of your referrals, such as sign-ups, conversions and commission, never referred customers’ content, connected accounts or workspace data.

General

You take part as an independent partner, not as our employee, agent or representative, and you can’t make commitments on Castrook’s behalf. We don’t guarantee any level of earnings. Anything these terms don’t cover is governed by the Castrook terms of service.
